Extension to Flexion Movement Mapping
Build proper extension to flexion mechanics and reinforce motor patterning.
- Target and lift with glove pronated (thumb down) and arm at extension
- Finish with forearm and glove horizontal at chin height
- Glove pocket should face pitcher at all times (no thumb roll)
- Work center, glove-side, and arm-side pitches
- Emphasize Glove and Pocket Position - Use a frisbee or bucket lid instead of a glove to emphasize pocket/glove position. Should go from vertical frisbee to horizontal frisbee
